With myself on drums, Sam Tanner playing keys & bass, Darren Hodson on guitar… Our only real mission in 2007 was to start a band and make a big noise with only the three of us. Initially it meant we could have a bit of fun, play songs we love and get a little more money doing it. Pretty soon, every tune we picked sounded “like BB3″ and dedicated followers couldn’t wait for the next show.

Personally, nothing gives me more pleasure than sitting behind my drums, close friends either side of me, with full confidence that this performance will be even better than the last. What could be better than making great music, turning heads… and having the time of your life doing it?
The three of us have pretty different musical influences from R&B to southern rock which is very interesting because you never know what’s coming next… but sam and I love the funk so that always creeps in somewhere.

Did i mention we all sing? …and when we’re not playing, we basically find humour in almost everything? Sitting around laughing at each other’s mishaps and foot in mouth moments whilst drinking copious amounts of tea really eats into your day? We got to the finals of Live & Unsigned at London’s 02? What about when we hired a house to record an album… things blew up, the top floor flooded… a hole just appeared in the ceiling with no explanation… our only neighbour was an actual lazy cow who fell asleep in the field outside, disconnected the earth cable and electrocuted Mrs. Hodson? and we still managed to laugh like children and find time for cake?
